Hi everyone!
I wanted to do a special highlight on one of the artists I’m working with to make some pretty special art as part of this campaign: Art by Steffani.
Who is Steffani?
Staffani is a part-time freelance artist and full-time mom who loves books and painting. No matter if it's making artwork with paints or sewing creative pieces with fabric, she truly enjoy every process. Her favorite things to create are fantasy and book fan arts.

This scene comes directly from book six of the series. I can‘t say much beyond that because spoilers, but I hope you love this as much as I do!
How is this art being used?
This art will be included in 6th book of the series: Freed by Destiny.
If we hit the next stretch goal ($3,500), this art will be included for everyone as a digital postcard. Additionally, the hardbacks will be upgraded to include an alternate dust jacket featuring this art!

Tales from the Wand
Hello!
Now that we’re less than $300 away from hitting the second stretch goal, I wanted to share a bit more about the Tales from the Wand (and, if you backed within the first 48 hours of the campaign, you’re about to become a minor character in one of these tales)!
From the very beginning of Royal by Blood, I’ve always envisioned the Fairy Godmothers (FGs) hanging out in The Wand, drinking and swapping stories of their adventures helping people across the land achieve their dreams. They are a sassy, caring, raucous, and merry band of queer fae men who are the best of friends. Their comaraderie throughout the series brings humor to the stories.
This is why I’m so excited to be working on a set of short stories featuring their adventures. They will be a lighthearted romp through classic (and maybe a few new) fairy tales, all told through the perspective of at least one member of the FGs. In between each story, there will be interludes of them hanging out in The Wand…and there might even be a few cameos of Layla scattered throughout.
I wanted to write these shorts because, let’s face it, the past two years have been tough. I know I’ve definitely felt the burnout and loneliness of the pandemic. These stories provide an escape from the real world and an entry into a place where any wish can come true, where friendship and humor are abundant, and, even when there are struggles, the characters work together to make the impossible… well… possible. Let’s bring some happiness back!
As part of this campaign, I’m including one of these short stories with every pledge and a second one will be included once we hit $3,000! If you’re excited about these stories, be sure to share the campaign with other fantasy readers—word of mouth is the best way to spread the news!

I know I posted an update earlier today about how close we were to the funding goal, but I wanted to send a personal message saying thank you! We hit our initial funding goal in less than 36 hours… and it’s all because of you!
Not only that, but we’ve also hit the first stretch goal!!! This means that everyone who pledged at least $50 in a physical tier will receive a free sample of one of the tea flavors of their choice. Plus…and this is something I’m super stoked about, we just unlocked a new flavor for everyone to choose from!!
